Weekend Warrior--Not So much A Success

What happens when you have unrealistic expectations of yourself?

You fall flat on your ass.

I could blame it on the kids, with all their basketball games and such (don't they know I don't have time for their lives, too?) or the housework (which is neverending), or biology (what's the point of sleep, anyway?), but the fact is, I was just exhausted!!! Ever since starting up this blog, I'm fascinated with what others are reading, and I spend wayyyy too much time perusing blogs. So, I was a little sleep deprived and this weekend, I just couldn't hack it anymore, (I started snoring in the middle of "Despicable Me") and I got a full 14 hours of sleep. Yes, that's right. 14 hours. For shame, I know.

I did finish Adam and Eve (Sena Jeter Naslund), and Mrs. Dalloway (Virginia Woolf), but I didn't even
get to touch Alice in Wonderland, Emma, or The Horla.

Adam and Eve-wish I could get my 13 hours of time back!
Mrs. Dalloway-I can't say enough about this novel. Really. I can't.

Reviews will be posted in the next few days.

Hope you all had a great weekend!
